User locations and device locations (TimeMoto Cloud)
Locations are used to assign users to certain locations. Also, locations are assigned to devices to decide which users are synchronised to which device. An example user assigned to the location "Amsterdam" The user in the example above is assigned to the location "Amsterdam". This means that their user data will only be synchronised to devices which are also assigned to the location "Amsterdam". Location assigned to a device
If any user (or Manager or Supervisor) is assigned to a certain location, they can only clock in or out on devices that share that location. Their user data is not visible on other devices.
If you want a user to be able to clock in or out on any device, do not assign them a location. If their location appears in black, the user will be synchronised to all devices.
