Changing your settings for Daylight Saving Time (DLST) (TimeMoto Time Clock Systems)

Daylight Saving Time (DLST) is the practice of setting the clock forward one hour from the standard time during the summer months and back again in the fall.

For your terminal to display the correct time all year long, you need to set the start and end dates of the Daylight Saving Time.

Please note: If you are using TimeMoto Cloud, you do not have to change anything. The program will adjust the time automatically when it changes.

Please follow the steps below to set-up your terminal for Daylight Saving Time.

Open the main menu of your terminal and go to [System Settings]. You may need to identify yourself first. Within the system settings go to [Date Time].

Select [Daylight Saving Time] and press ok to activate it. Next, the option [Daylight Saving Mode] will appear. Go to [Daylight Saving Mode] and select either [By date/time] or [By week/day].

Next, go to [Daylight Saving Setup] and fill in the start and end dates of the Daylight Saving Time.

If you have selected the [By date/time] as Daylight Saving Mode you must fill in the following information:

Start Date: 26-03
Start Time: 02:00
End Date: 29-10
End Time: 03:00

If you have selected the [By week/day] as Daylight Saving Mode you must fill in the following information:

Start Month: 3
Start Week: 4
Start Day: Sunday
Start Time 02:00
End Month: 10
End Week: 5
End Day: Sunday
End Time: 03:00

Once you have filled in all the data, you have completed the DLST setup.

The instruction data provided in this article and the video are based on standardized European regulations. Please check the start and end dates of your region before changing any settings.
