What happens with the fingerprints stored on the device? (TimeMoto Time Clock Systems)
The TimeMoto devices do not store an image of your fingerprint. Instead, an anonymous, mathematical algorithm is stored on the device.
The personal details of the fingerprint are vectorized and are turned into a complex algorithm in the device. This data is then linked to the user's ID.

The fingerprint "image" can never be extracted from the device in any way. The device only stores a numerical code. Any kind of misuse of personal data by unauthorized users is thus avoided.
Since all TimeMoto devices offer various authentification methods, users who do not want to use their fingerprint can clock their time by using their user ID and PIN. Alternatively, they can also use a RFID card or key fob.
