REPLACING A LOST RFID TAG (Safescan TA-8000)
In order to replace a lost RFID tag without losing any data, please follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Open the Menu of your TA-8000.
2. Select "User Mgt.".
3. Select "All Users"
4. Select the user for whom you want to register a new RFID fob/card.
5. Select "Badge Number".
6. Swipe the new RFID tag in front of the reader when the system prompts for it.
7. Go out of the menu. The RFID information has been changed on the device.
8. Synchronise from the device to the software to make sure that the information is also stored in the software database.
